SPILLFIX COLD ASPHALT is a deferred set, storage grade Asphalt that is ideal for instant, high quality repairs to Bituminous or concrete surfaces.
SPILLFIX COLD ASPHALTIncorporates the latestCold Asphalt Technology out of Europe to provide an easy product to use to provide a Permanent repair without use of expensive equipment.
Available in 6mm or 10mm grade SPILLFIX Cold Asphalt can be used for carriageway and footpath repairs, patching reinstating and temporary surfacing.
With a need to find a cost effective product SPILLFIX Cold Asphalt provides an immediate solution to dry and wet potholes and utility cuts in roads, drives, car parks and many other surfaces including wet areas.
SPILLFIX Cold Asphalt is a combination of penetrable grade bitumen, additives and selected aggregates.
SPILLFIX Cold Asphalt can be stored in bulk and has a minimum 2 year shelf life whilst remaining workable in cold weather

Preparation
Clean the repair area of loose debris and dust, remove any excess water.
Application
Lightly work the Bag of SPILLFIX before applying it to the work area.
Level out the SPILLFIX to the desired level a depth of 45mm will compact to 30mm.
Coverage
As a rule of thumb at a depth of 20-30mm it will cover an area of 0.6 Sq m.
- 6mm grade SPILLFIX CA achieves 20-60mm wearing coat
- 10mm grade SPILLFIXCA achieves 25-100mm wearing coat
Compaction.
Where possible use a thumper or compactor in an emergency you can use your vehicle tyres.
Precautions.
Avoid excessive contact with Skin, use gloves. If the skin becomes contaminated, clean using an approved petroleum based abrasive hand cleaner/gel.
Any contact with the eyes, they should be irrigated with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention.
Storage/ Shelf life/ Special notes.
SPILLFIX CA has a shelf life of up to two (2) years in all conditions, from extreme cold, heat to wet conditions. You will notice that the SPILLFIX® will form a type of hard skin in or out of the package, and this protects the main body of the product from degradation. This skin easily
re-juvenates and mixes back in with little agitation.
